Olivia Oran is Head of Editorial Subscription Strategy at Insider Inc (the parent of Business Insider). She is in charge of growth efforts in the newsroom for Insider Inc's consumer subscription business.

She helps editors and reporters understand what's resonating with subscribers, works closely with data, product, and distribution teams to analyze and grow Insider's subscriber base, and executes tests around subscriber growth, engagement and retention.

She's also in charge of new editorial products, including newsletters and events.

Olivia was previously deputy executive editor, subscriptions at Business Insider, where she led teams of reporters and editors covering finance, real estate, investing, markets, healthcare, legal and energy.

Prior to joining BI in April 2018, she spent six years at Reuters where she covered large Wall Street banks, as well as mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance among healthcare, consumer, and retail companies. She previously covered technology news at TheStreet and Mergermarket. Olivia began her career as an investment banker at JPMorgan working with technology and media companies.
