Kate Bird is the Executive Director of Consumer Revenue at Condé Nast, overseeing consumer marketing and B2C teams for Condé Nast’s brands globally, pioneering new business models with the company’s media brands such as Vogue and GQ. Kate started her career in marketing at BBC Worldwide back in 2005, driving subscriptions across multiple BBC products. Since then, Kate has taken on marketing roles for brands including Coral, The Times, The Wall Street Journal, and more recently at The Sun, where she held the role of GM and CMO for three years. In this post, Kate received a commendation from Scotland Yard for her contribution to counter terrorism. Kate is hugely passionate about journalism, travel and photography, and has a two year old son, Charlie.
